Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Keeping Safety First—Every Student, Every Day
Student safety is our top priority during arrival and dismissal. To ensure a smooth and secure process, staff members are assigned to monitor key locations throughout our campus. Please take time to review the following procedures with your child and help reinforce their importance each day.
Important Reminder:
Any change to your child’s typical arrival or dismissal plan must be submitted in writing and shared with both the classroom teacher and the front office.
By following these procedures, you help keep our students safe and the arrival/dismissal run smoothly for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support!
-
Arrival Window: 7:25–7:40 AM
Supervision begins at 7:25 AM. Please do not drop students off before this time. -
Students are considered parent pick-up/drop-off only if you are using your vehicle to pick them up on Lake Erie Parkway (west side of the building).
Grades K–5: Use the west side of the building (Green Arrow area)
Preschool: Use the east side of the building (Pink Arrow area)If you meet your child on foot or wait off school property, your child is considered a walker, not a parent pick-up.
Siblings in K–5 with a Pre-K sibling: These students will arrive and dismiss with Pre-K on the east side of the building.
-
Walkers
Students are considered walkers if they leave school grounds on foot to:
- Go home
- Meet a parent/guardian parked off school property
Walkers may not be picked up from the staff parking lot due to safety concerns
Bus Riders
Students assigned to a bus route are considered bus riders and should use this transportation daily. Riding the bus helps reduce traffic congestion and maintains a safe environment during peak times.
All bus students will load and unload at the front loop of the school.
No car traffic is allowed in the front bus loop during arrival and dismissal.
