Woodlands Elementary School

During the week of September 29, Woodlands participated in Fire Prevention Week. Local firefighters led assemblies and classroom sessions on fire safety, teaching students about home escape plans, checking smoke alarms, and using technology responsibly.

The firefighters shared stories from their experiences and answered students' questions, making the lessons both meaningful and engaging.

Students created art projects inspired by the campaign's theme, and one outstanding project from each grade level was selected. Those students earned lunch with our local firefighters!

It was an educational week that reminded everyone of the important role we all play in keeping our homes and community safe.
