Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

Keeping Safety First—Every Student, Every Day

Student safety is our top priority during arrival and dismissal. To ensure a smooth and secure process, staff members are assigned to monitor key locations throughout our campus. Please take time to review the following procedures with your child and help reinforce their importance each day.

Important Reminder: Any change to your child's typical arrival or dismissal plan must be submitted in writing and shared with both the classroom teacher and the front office.

By following these procedures, you help keep our students safe and the arrival/dismissal run smoothly for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support!

  • Walkers & Bike Riders

Students who walk or bike off school grounds may go home or meet a parent parked off school grounds.

    • Walkers cannot be picked up from the staff parking lot.
    • Students must walk their bikes off school grounds.
  • Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up

K–5 arrival and dismissal take place on the west side of the building via Lake Erie Parkway.

    • Display your student's name clearly in the windshield.
    • Students should enter and exit independently on the sidewalk side.
    • Vehicles should move forward promptly once students are out.

Students are considered parent pick-up/drop-off only if you are using your vehicle to pick them up on Lake Erie Parkway (west side of the building).

    • Grades K–5: Use the west side of the building (Green Line area)
    • Preschool: See the Campus Traffic Map below for AM/PM-specific routes

If you meet your child on foot or wait off school property, your child is considered a walker, not a parent pick-up.

Siblings in K–5 with a Pre-K sibling: These students will arrive and dismiss with Pre-K, following the Preschool traffic pattern below.
